Mira Daher appointed as Lebanon's new ambassador in Rome

The Lebanese government Thursday (20 July) made a wide range of diplomatic appointments and transfers, the biggest in seven years, to fill some vacant posts in key countries in a move underlining Lebanon’s fresh diplomatic drive under the mandate of President Michel Aoun.

A source at Baabda Palace told The Daily Star that among other appointments in many key countries, Mira Daher was named as ambassador to Italy.
