$20 million restaurant cluster by Venture Group in Beit Mery

Construction of a food and beverages (F&B) cluster has begun in Beit Mery. The project is a joint venture between Venture Group, a hospitality concept development company owned by Marwan Ayoub and Rabih Saba, Joseph Aoun owner of ‘Le Charcutier’, and Charbel Metri.

Cooperation between the parties is based on a two years development and ten years management agreement by Venture Group.

Aoun and Metri will invest $12 million in the project. Saba said that the tenants will deploy another $8 million, as they will equip, decorate, furnish, and install the kitchens in their shops.

The project will be built on a 5,000 square meters (m2) land plot. “The project land is characterized by a 200 meters stretch on the main Beit Mery road, giving all tenants exposure to the street,” Saba said.

The cluster will include 14 F&B outlets, as well as a kids’ playground and one of the tallest climbing walls in the country. It will be anchored by a branch of Le Charcutier chain of supermarkets. "Negotiations are ongoing, but the prime brands will be hosted at the project," Saba said.

Building Construction, which is owned by Ghassan and Walid Haidamous, has been selected as the project’s contractor.

The cluster is expected to be completed in two years, and will create around 500 direct jobs.
